Biotic stress and accumulation of antioxidant metabolites in Solanaceae

Investigation of how secondary metabolite contents change in different genotypes of tomato and pepper and analysis of the relationship between synthesis and accumulation of the metabolites and virus stress. The expression of key genes involved in the synthesis of antioxidants is analyzed in response to the pathogen.
